This bag is made of heavy duty nylon canvas. I'm impressed with the sturdiness of the material and of the zippers. A great deal at $30 for a huge bag. I'm using it to store my son's lacrosse gear, including the stick.

I had originally ordered this duffel bag to transport clothing and cycling gear for a 5-day cycling event. My wife and I were hoping that the majority of our travel items could fit in one bag (we could only take two with us for this particular event). Although we ended up having to cancel our trip at the last minute, I feel very confident that all of our travel items would have easily fit in this bag. We ended up using this bag on vacation and was able to include all our clothing, shoes, and other travel accessories. I do want to mention that the bag was much bigger than I expected; I found it somewhat difficult to carry the bag when fully loaded. However, the bag is flexible in that, unlike a hard suitcase, it can be compressed in a small, tight car trunk. I anticipate using this bag mostly for outdoor activities such as camping and when needing to transport cycling equipment (e.g., helmets, shoes, gloves, cycling shoes) in addition to casual apparel.

If you are planning to travel and you have many items to carry with you..This is the RIGHT choice. Its 42 inch length, gives you more than enough space you need for your items
