I ordered this bag in a pink paisley pattern on another site for my daughter in hopes that it would meet international carry on restrictions that typically appear to include a 20inch length maximum. I was disappointed to receive the bag to find it still measures almost 22inches end to end (perhaps the bag measures 20 but the wheels and handle protrude to 22inches). I returned it mostly for that reason, but also found all of the exterior buckles to be overkill/timewasters and the multiple compartments to take up valuable packing space. It's otherwise an attractive bag for teenager, lighterweight, and appears to be of decent quality construction at this price. Instead I bought her a 20inch Travelpro walkabout lite expandable (NOT widebody) which is heavier but gets great reviews from international travelers for carry-on capacity/meeting criteria. It's just not as 'cute' as this one.
