I got this bag to hold my recording accessories when in storage and on the go. In it I have eleven 25' mic cables, an extension chord (at least 20'), 4-channel headphone amplifier, four 12' RCA-TS cables, a MIDI cable, Tascam US-122 MkII audio interface and many RCA-TS & 1/8"-1/4" adapters. I still have room for more and the bag feels solid - zippers are sturdy and there are enough pockets to hold everything I need. I recommend it!

Not as large as expected

I had to return this bag because it was smaller than I expected. I knew the dimensions wouldn't give exact volume since the bag is not a box/rectangular prism, but the real volume is 4,200 cubic inches, 378.08 cubic inches less than what the listed dimensions indicate. I was surprised by the difference in volume, and mostly just upset with Amazon for not putting the volume in the description since it's PRINTED ON THE BAG!That being said, it is a really great bag! Same great quality as other Timbuk2 products!

Perfect Fit

This duffle bag is an excellent choice for people who need a BIG bag for traveling. I am certain that this bag would not work as a carry-on for travel via airplane, but one large bag makes much more sense than two, or more, smaller bags. The BFD is made to be durable and it shows.

Great Packability... And Looks GREAT

Back in the day I borrowed a "satchel" of this style from my grandparents when I travelled as a teen to Europe. We couldn't take much - but I had so much space in that smallish bag - so I've been eyeing another old-timey leather satchel to try.It's still true. it's the it packs I believe. I've also grown weary of clunky wheelers in small overheads. I wanted a bit of a "nice" look in case I had to bring my luggage into just-off-the-jet restaurant meetings/dinners.So far the quality of the leather is holding up well to travel.Sometimes you can't beat a tried and true design I guess.
