I love anything Herschel and I got this as a gym bag. I like that it is big and has a shoe compartment but my only critique is that there are no other compartments to place my smaller items like keys and wallets and it would take me a while to rummage through my things.

This was a Christmas Gift for my son. It seems sturdy, well made and quiet large inside. We were both a little disappointed at the size though. It looks a lot bigger on the website.

I didn't think about it when I was looking for the bag but I wish it had side pockets. I bought it to use for traveling for work. I should have looked for something with side pockets so I could get out things more easily ( like the Ziploc with all the liquids when going through airport security) also it is hard to keep my laptop on top, makes the bag awkward. Guess it's not the best carry-on substitute. But I still love this bag for driving trips and gym trips. the handles are super comfortable to hold and the shoulder strap guard does not slid.I would definitely recommend this bag, just consider how you intend to use it.
