Cheap Material

I bought this bag for my daughter because of the size and the different pockets. Well, after less than 3 months, it started ripping in different places. As of today, there are so many different holes in her bag that I'm going to have to just buy her a sports duffel bag instead. I am very disappointed in this dance bag.

Breaks, not enough pockets

At first, it was perfect. Great size and The extra long adjustable strap is amazing (but hurts after 10 minutes on one shoulder). Buuuut... After about a year of good use (3 classes a week, plus shows) the zipper came off on the side and front pockets, and the seam on the side pocket came undone. Other than that, it is a pretty good bag, but be carful with use.If it had more pockets (Only has the two on the outside), and was sturdier I would love this bag.

Great but not enough pockets

I have had it for 3 years. I dance 5 times a week and take it to every studio I go to and including shows. I am very rough on this bag and it has not ripped and no zippers have broken off. I have a friend who had the same bag and it has lasted her 2 years and she takes it every where too. But my other friend ,who has this bag, had it for 3 days and it ripped and all the zippers came off. I guess it depends which one you get. But I rated it 4 stars because it does not have enough pockets and the one on the side goes into the big compartment and drives me crazy!

Fantastic

This duffel is the best piece of luggage I have owned. Superior quality, lots of room and pockets, and it easily fits into the overhead on aircraft. I would highly recommend this item to frequent travelers, or anyone else who wants a quality item for traveling. No roller wheels on this bag, but shoulder strap works well and is comfortable. I really like the "tan" version. Getting tied of seeing black all the time.

Perfect carry on and weekend bag

I searched high and low for a high quality leather overnight bag and finally came up with this. I went back and forth over the smaller and larger size due to carry on restrictions nowadays, but I figured since it's soft sided, it wouldnt be an issue, and it wasn't. I've been through four airports with it without problems. The leather is of wonderful quality, the adjustable shoulder strap is comfortable, the length is just right for getting papers and other items out of the side pockets while still carrying. Also, for the techie traveler, a 10.1" tablet fits perfectly upright in either end pocket, as well as most hard bound novels. The ONLY thing that I might complain about, and it's really not that much of an issue, is the u shaped zipper on the top takes two hands to open slowly, but this also allows me to drop folded clothes in easily without wrinkling. The lining is a nice high quality as well. I can easily pack for two days with this bag, very glad I got the larger size now.

Got this bag as a present for my husband who was using a gym bag as an overnight bag. The bag is perfect size, not big and bulky like other bags I found in Amazon but spacious enough to take anything you need for a short trip. Leather combination looks good without being overly flashy. Overall a good purchase.

Excellent, sturdy, roomy, and stylish.

This really is the best duffel bag I have owned out of the five I have used over the last fifteen or so years. So far, it seems well designed and crafted as well as stylish and deceptively roomy. (I have the Hadaki Jet Setter Black/Rust design aka black with brown leather style.) I was able to use it for a 4 day, 4 night trip. The bag definitely fits EASILY in overhead airline compartments whether length or width wise. If need be, I could have included another pair of shoes/sneakers without jamming them in. The zippers are strong and don't seem likely to fall off track. There's an internal ID holder and a large zippered interior pocket. The exterior pocket is good for small things like keys or a thin wallet. HADAKI products are also supposed to be "eco-friendly, free of AZO and Phthalates/DEHP, DBP, BOP and other harmful chemicals" while also "water resistant" in some places and wipe-able. HADAKI is based in New Orleans and manufactures in New Orleans, Mississippi, and parts of Asia. What could be improved? Perhaps adding a shoulder sleeve on the straps (which seem very sturdy) and maybe add a strap to bring the handles together. Definitely not crucial items -- but nice to haves.

The weekender is very good qualitty - leather and lining. It worth the price $145, but too small for me. May be for 1 day stand in the hotel in the summer, or as a shopping bag in department stores.I have to return it, since cannot afford this kind of indulgence.
