You get what you pay for

No question the price was right, and it's large and roomy -- but overall NOT a success.After only two transatlantic trips the end strap's anchor webbing has virtually detached and is in need of immediate repair. One of the two castors has also started developing serious problems reducing the bag's ability to roll. Other more minor issues include: a tendency to tip over when stood upright and a holes appearing in two places in the (not very rugged) outer fabric. Without outer cynch straps to compress the contents, it's also a pretty floppy affair. My advice: pay more and get something that lasts more than a couple of trips; I'm returning to Eagle Creek whose products have stood me in very good stread over the years.

Fits everything and more!

This bag was perfect! We traveled up north for the summer and had to bring bedding as well as clothing. We were able to fit 4 rolled up sleeping bags in here, with pillows and towels. The side pockets provided excellent storage for all sorts of odds and ends. Have the handle and wheels made transporting it so easy.

Awful!!!

One wheel tore apart after few trips always rolling along smooth payments. The strip inside the wheel hung out of the split wheel. I do not recommend this product.

High Sierra Duffel

The High Sierra Duffel was a surprise. Not only is it light-weight, but it is made of very durable material, and has organization. I never would have thought of a duffel as I have always had a regular suitcase. At 73 years of age, I had considered the duffel bag to belong to the younger set who often throw their clothes into it in a haphazard manner.I was able to organize different types of clothing with the use of the three large outer pockets and either fold or roll the rest inside the very large main compartment. I packed everything needed for a close to three week trip and then was able to bring it to my nearest FEDEX shipping outlet. My other case was 17 lbs. unfilled, but this is only 7 lbs. This lowered weight made a significant difference and cost me less at FEDEX than if I had taken the two bags necessary to check-in with at the airport. I am very pleased with it. If you do go ground at any of the delivery companies, be sure to do it in plenty of time to get where you are going.

Superb, well constructed duffel but weight as portrayed by Amazon is incorrect; product is 30+% heavier. I like this duffel but as purchase was weight-dependent, would urge persons to confirm veracity of dimensions and weight with future purchases.

Just perfect for all the extra stuff I bought while in the USA. Easy access from the top. End pockets are really part of the main storage but still useful for odd items. Tough material and zip. Looks great, heavy duty and well made

I bought this bag for $200 on Amazon after finding the same or nearly identical bag for $300-$350 on other sites. The leather is high quality, beautiful and the bag is well crafted. The brass hardware is heavy duty and the bag is sturdy. What I love about the bag is that my shirts can go in without being overfolded, and they are easy to pack and unpack. Note that the zipper opens from the top in both directions and goes down to the base. A leather patch on both sides prevents it from falling open completely and provides sides for easy packing. This is standard on all expensive Italian luggage of this type, but unusual for a bag that costs less than $300. So this is well worth the $200 current price tag.The only complaint I have is that the bag was crammed into too small a box for shipping and after I opened it up, it smelled of tanning fluids and glue. But after a few days of airing it out, the bag is fine. Annoying and almost worth knocking a point off, but I didnt because everything else is excellent as noted above.Note that this bag is bigger than it looks on the page. But it would fit in an overhead compartment on most planes.

To Go Bag

After an exhausting online search for a leather duffle, the Amazon.com package couldn't be bested by others! Aside from the price point, the assurance that a quality bag would be delivered as well as the customer reviews on other Floto/Cenzo products put my concerns at ease.The package was sent from Connecticut quickly (though, the package did sit in a local warehouse for 40 hours prior to delivery), and the packaging was adequate for the contents.As with most belizes I've purchased, there was a period of environmental acclimation (aeration), after which the tote was ready to go. And go this will!Quite right, the bag is larger than may appear as pictured; that's a good thing. The base of the duffle fits clothes nicely, shoes even. The tall elevation graciously stows enough to keep my attire fresh for three/four day excursions. I'm certain this fine pouch will wear well and keep me company on many jaunts throughout the American West.The adjustable shoulder strap is not as long as one might expect, but sufficient. I do regret not ordering a matching valet travel kit, or comparable product.Drop your stuff in, let the zipper whistle shut, sling this bag over your shoulder and go!

The GO TO Weekend Bag

While this bag took forever to get due to shipping issues from Italy and living in a far flung state the end result is an amazing bag. This bag is perfect for a weekend get away. It can fit an extra pair of shoes and all the essential items for a long weekend (up to five days). Fits great in an overhead compartment. The feel of the leather is high end and the price is amazing when compared to other more expensive options. Easy to carry or shoulder. Bottom line for the price this bag beats all others and will be a great travel partner for years to come as the leather will age very nicely. Buy this bag.

Possibly the most poorly engineered travel bag ever.

Packed this bag for a business trip. I was carrying samples; medium weight textile products. One of the strap handles ripped off the bag the first time I tried to lift it out of the trunk of the car. The second strap handle ripped off when I lifted the bag off the airport carousel. To add insult to injury, the telescoping handle broke the next day while I was rolling the bag into a sales presentation.Unless you are transporting balloons (preferably filled with helium)skip this cheap bag and spend the extra money on a better one.

Warning- Walk away from this bag

I bought this bag last June, to carry (not-electrical) display gear and it is broken in every conceivable way. It is very inferior construction. The seams have come out, the telescoping handle broke (with no provocation), it tears on everything, the plastic strips on the bottom have all shattered.This will NOT last as checked luggage, just so you know. If you want something to fill up and leave in your garage or attic, and maybe move every year or two, this bag may be just right for you.It would be ideal for filling up with clothes for Goodwill, and taking it down there every month or so. Other than that, don't bother.
