This is by far a wonderful item especially for plane travel when you don't want to check in luggage. I initially bought one size bigger for international travel that limited the weight of my luggage. It was perfect. I then decided to try the 20" expandable. I was able to pack for a 5-day trip with no problem at all. It held much more than the traditional overhead type.This is not only lightweight and sturdy, but also the expandable feature is a lifesaver if you happen to make a few purchases that have to get packed.The one negative is putting in the first layer of clothing. The sides need a bit of help keeping them upright, as the suitcase folds. I found this feature, however, very helpful where space was limited for storage.

This is the second of these bags we have purchased. It is a great travel bag. It's light weight means you can put a great deal into it and keep within weight limits for carryon luggage.

I purchased 3 of these for the groomsmen at my wedding and they told me they use it all the time when they travel. I decided to buy one for myself as well and have used it as my only bag when I travel. It has fit in every overhead compartment I've used on even the smaller planes I've been on.
