Back in the day I borrowed a "satchel" of this style from my grandparents when I travelled as a teen to Europe. We couldn't take much - but I had so much space in that smallish bag - so I've been eyeing another old-timey leather satchel to try.It's still true. it's the it packs I believe. I've also grown weary of clunky wheelers in small overheads. I wanted a bit of a "nice" look in case I had to bring my luggage into just-off-the-jet restaurant meetings/dinners.So far the quality of the leather is holding up well to travel.Sometimes you can't beat a tried and true design I guess.
