Smooth-rolling, quiet wheels. The end has 2 substantial feet so you can stand this duffel on end, and it won't tip; you have to arrange your heavy items to be on the side where the feet and wheels are located! Why else would they design feet on the end, it's meant to stand upright. I've used this bag on 4 trips and NEVER has it tipped over at the airport.This fits with room to spare in Southwest Airlines' overhead bins. No nasty looks from the flight attendants when you bring this bag on-board with you.The pull-out handle has 2 positions, shorter for a child, and longer for an adult - it seems slightly flimsy but more sturdy than others I've tried in this price range. The interior is light aqua, I'm so glad it's not black - the light color makes it easy to see what you're packing and you're not looking into a dark cavern to find something. Besides the pull-out handle and the top handle, this also has a riveted-on handle on the end to help you hoist it into the overhead bin. The small zippered front compartment is perfect for carrying your 3-1-1 TSA quart bag. You can't lock this as there is only one zipper, not a big deal to me as I plan on using this only as a carry-on.NOTE: I got the Blinker White, it's gray and navy on a white background with aqua interior.

I purchased this bag from another vendor in the purple/love/peace print for my daughter, and it was really cute and as advertised fabric-wise. It even met my criteria for 20inch total length (approx) to qualify for carryon (international criteria). However, the zipper is not heavy duty and the zipper pulls have no option to place a lock on the closure. I realized that this would probably not be a good flight travel bag if it had to be gate checked so I returned it. For the price it's a very cute bag for casual car trips or overnights for young people, but I wouldn't recommend it for business or high frequency travelers. It appears to be good quality for its price point however and if this were just for casual use I'd have kept it. I would compare it favorably to similarly priced luggage from Target for example. It's lightweight and decent capacity, if you're comfortable with a straight zipper duffle opening (as opposed to a U shaped top zipper).
