The Duffle that I received, is nothing like the picture or description. The drop bottom section is solid black. It has a silver panel on the upper front with a red border and "Samsonite" in red and black letters. The straps are not attached to the drop bottom section and there is no second handle for lifting, on the wheeled end as descibed. It will be returned. Its not even listed on Samsonites website.

We didn't want to look like the "Beverly Hillbillies" toting our hard shell old luggage to the airport for our vacation trip, So we looked and looked and read reviews concerning various sizes and quality. We were traveling with another couple and were renting a car to continue our trip, so it was very important that we stayed within a certain size limit. The Samsonite Duffels fit the bill for us in both regards as they fit well into the trunk of a Chevy Impala with much room to spare. The drop bottom is a great feature as you don't have to unpack your underwear to get to your jeans and sweatshirts in the bottom. The zippers were solid and smooth and the tote handle worked well. You have to be careful, because you can get more than 50 lbs. in the bag. The airlines really don't care about that. They are glad to take your money. It has extra zippered compartments, but these intrude on the usable space inside the bag. But they are there if you need them, or even if you don't.
