On first opening the bag, I connected up the strap so I could carry it over my shoulder, and it broke. It didn't last 30 seconds. Unfortunately, that afternoon it arrived, I was flying away, so was unable to do anything about it. And when I got to my destination, I didn't have my Amazon details, so was unable to lodge a complaint.The bag is sturdy and strong, zips work well, and my bag has stood up to many flights and being thrown around by plane cargo loaders. BUT, where you connect the shoulder strap to the bag is made out of plastic. Why do they do this, when apart from the plastic parts, the bag is very good. I give this 4 Stars. For this to be 5 Stars, the bag needs to have metal to hold the strap.
