Got this bag as a piece of luggage to use for travelling. It carries as much as a separate backpack plus a roller bag would carry. Problem with that is that the bag can get heavy if you load too much in to it. I would suggest a detachable roller cart if you are going to over pack it. I got tons of compliments on the bag and it fit very nicely into the overhead compartment of the plane. I forgot how nice it was to have leg room again under my seat!
