First off - this 40" is HUGE. It's ideal for storing a lot of items securely. I wouldn't use it to carry items around simply because it is so large. However, if you do have to move it, don't worry about it breaking. The handles and material are all very heavy duty. It feels like it will last for many, many years.This is far too large for plane check in luggage but it would fit comfortably in the back of a car for coamping, etc. Or it can be used for storage in an attic and protect your items from dust, etc (which is how I use it).In all, I'm pleased with the bag and it has stored a big jumble of loose items (including some sharp items) without breaking or tearing.

This bag is great. It's durable. I think the only thing I didn't like about it is that it is TOO BIG, which is my own fault. I was looking for the biggest bag I could find so that I could bring with me as much stuff as I could on a plane ride. I had 50 pounds I could stuff into it but there was just too much room left over.

This bag is perfect for me. It stores everyone thing I need, all in one shot. I wish it had wheels, as it is difficult to carry on my shoulders. But I only use it during the summer, so I am Ok with it. I highly recommend this item
