i just purchased this bag from a store yesterday and thought i would give a review for everyone who is thinking about buying this bag. i got this bag in 'pink plaid' and i must say the colors in the picture dont do it justice, the actual colors of these bags are VERY vibrant and beautiful. the side pocket is absolutely great and can actually hold alot of stuff. i purchased the 'large' size of this bag and was IMPRESSED at how much it holds and how big this bag can get when filled up!!! im going on a one week trip to canada and really wanted something big enough to hold all my things, but small enough not to take up all the space in the van (im going with six other people in one small van!). this bag is perfect. im a bigger girl so my clothes are bigger im a size 18 in jeans and XL in shirts and this is all i could fit in the bag- 6 pairs of jeans- 7 pairs of socks- 7 pairs of underwear- 5 pairs of pajama shorts- 2 pairs of sweatpants- 4 bras- 10 tee shirts- 1 sweater- 2 pairs of flip flops- 1 pair of chuck taylors (shoes)- hair curler- hair straightener- a 5' by 5' by 8 inch clear box (to hold makeup and jewelry)- 1 bottle of shampoo- 1 bottle of conditioner- 1 can of hairspray- 1 medium/large bottle of body wash- 1 medium/large bottle of lotion- 1 bottle of perfume (tall/cylindricle)- 1 loofah- 1 hairbrush- 1 6 foot by 4 foot beach towelTHATS ALOT OF STUFF!! if you're looking for something to hold alot of things i recommend this bag.

I bought this bag to carry my roller derby gear in, and I just don't think it's going to be able to handle it. I would have expected a "sports bag" to be more durable-feeling, but the fabric feels quite flimsly, as do the zippers. It's very cute though, so I'm going to use it anyway...I just hope my skates don't fall through it after a week of use!

Not only is this bag adorable, but it's really practical, too. I love the side pocket that allows me to keep my shoes or makeup or hairdryer or whatever separate from the rest of my stuff. It also has a slightly rubberized coating on the interior that makes the bag pretty much water proof and indestructible. It's awesome for weekend getaways or perfect as a gym bag. I absolutely love it.
