Our tanning process locks in natural oils producing a soft durable hand that won't crack or become brittle with normal use. Our college-age son loves this bag. It is a great addition to his suitcase when traveling back and forth between home and college. The quality of the leather is amazing and it seems very well made. I'm sure he will use this bag for many years to come!
