The fabric is 22oz Vinyl for the Body and incredible 34oz for the Sides. The Dry Expedition "Small" is ideal for use on Piaggio and Vespa Scooters. The key feature of this Bag is the versatility of the mounting straps. I use on two different scooters across the rear seat, and it holds very well. Using the "Small", I am able to keep two changes of clothes and a shaving kit. I wish they made one size smaller then the small for mounting across the front racks of my Vespa GTS, but they do make the Wolfman Enduro Carry All bag that will work. Hats off to Wolfman for making a rugged and well thought out product.

We put these on the roof luggage rack and do not panic if we drive through a heavy rain shower. You could probably squirt these with a water hose and not get any water inside. You cannot get a better bag for expedition use that this. The ARB and Storm bags are pitiful contenders by comparison against this incredible bag.The one thing to consider if you buy the Black bag, if you are in hot weather, things get hot inside. Don't wrap your favorite clothes around a tube of toothpaste for instance; it might detonate!

Recently took this bag on a 1300 mile ride and had several downpours but all my gear stayed nice and dry. Very Pleased with it!
