The bag tucks away neatly in a purse or laptop bag. I used it when in Rome and bought all souvenirs at the airport and popped open the duffel bag, filled it up and proceeded to board. Very sturdy and solid construction. it was full to the top. The only request I would have is to have an arm strap sling. Carrying by hand may not be the best way to carry around.

When you don't need this bag, it folds into next to nothing (both volume and weight) and when you do, it accommodates a ton of stuff in a strong, sturdy, light enclosure that is easy to carry.If you are ever in a situation where you need to carry stuff one way but not the other when you are traveling, Give this bag a consideration.They used to have it in colors other than black as well. I wish they offered those again but that does not detract from the five star rating.

Took this little bag (little when in its case) to Africa with me. Due to weight restrictions I had to find just the right bag that weighed very little. At the end of the trip I opened the Kiva Duffel and was able to pack all the goodies I had purchased. It was easy to carry, fit nicely in the overhead, and looks smart. A real find. Now need another trip to take it on!!
